Prof. Dr. Alpdoğan KANTARCI

Dr. Alpdoğan KANTARCI holds a D.D.S. and a Ph.D. degree. He is a Board certified specialist of Periodontology (C.A.G.S.) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is the Erwin Schaeffer Endowed Chair, Professor and Chair of Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He was previously a Professor and Senior Member of the Staff at the ADA Forsyth Institute, an Associate Professor at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and Associate Professor at Boston University’s Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He completed his doctorate studies at Istanbul University's Department of Periodontology and moved to the USA as a postdoctoral fellow at Boston University. He completed his clinical periodontology specialization training (CAGS) at Boston University. He served as the clinical director at the ADA Forsyth Institute and continues to work as an active periodontist and implantologist. Dr. Kantarci has mentored more than 60 theses and directed and taught in several graduate and postgraduate clinical and didactic dentistry courses. He serves on the editorial board of more than 20 dental and medical scientific journals. His research interests include Molecular Mechanisms and Resolution Pathways of Oral Inflammation in Periodontitis and the Link to Systemic Diseases, Experimental Models, Clinical Applications of High-Throughput Analysis in Dental Research (e.g. xMAP Multiplexing), and Biology of Tooth Movement. He holds several patents. He has published more than 220 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, written book chapters, and presented more than 500 oral talks.

Prof. Dr. Burak BAYRAM

He was born in 1977 in Gaziantep, Turkey. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Marmara University in 2002. In 2007, he obtained his Ph.D. in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Başkent University. Between 2007 and 2021, he served as a faculty member at Başkent University and was awarded the title of Professor in 2019. Since 2021, he has been practicing in the private clinic he founded. He has authored numerous scientific articles in both national and international indexed journals in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2009 and 2017, he held fellowship positions at the University of Southwestern Medical Center in Texas, USA; the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at AZ Sint-Jan; and at UZ Brussels Hospital and the European Face Center in Belgium.

Prof. Dr. Bülent PİŞKİN

Born in Denizli in 1969, he completed his primary and secondary education in Denizli. He began his higher education at Gazi University, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1986 and graduated in 1993. In 2002, he started his Ph.D. training in the Department of Prosthodontics at Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Center of Dental Sciences, and completed it in 2006. In 2010, he was appointed as a faculty member with the title of assistant professor in the same department. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked at the University of Health Sciences, Gülhane Faculty of Dentistry, and from 2018 to 2024, he served at Kapadokya University Faculty of Dentistry. He currently holds a position at Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Faculty of Dentistry. He is married and has two children. He is fluent in English and has an intermediate level of Italian.

Doç. Dr. Yeliz ÇAVUŞOĞLU YÜCE

After graduating from Hacettepe Faculty of Dentistry, he started a PhD program in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the same university. After completing his PhD in 2010, he applied for a scholarship from the ITI (International Team for Implantology). As an ITI Scholar, he worked as an assistant to Prof. Dr. Daniel Buser in the Department of Surgery at Bern University in 2012 for 2 years. Dr. Cavusoglu, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2017, is a Fellow and International Speaker at ITI. He was the Founder and Program Head of Oral and Dental Health at Acıbadem University School of Health Vocational School. In addition to his own clinic, Dr. Cavusoglu has been working at Acıbadem Health Group since 2011 and is currently working as a clinical director and senior specialist physician at Atasehir Acıbadem Hospital, Department of Oral and Dental Health. The ceramic implant study he conducted with Prof. Buser was awarded the “European First Prize” in the “best basic study” category at the 2015 EAO. Dr. Cavusoglu works mainly on digital dentistry, biomechanics and aesthetics in implantology. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the ITI Turkey & Azerbaijan Department since 2022.

Dr. MDSc. Genc Zenunaj

Dr. Genc Zenunaj was born in Kosovo in 1983. After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Pristina in 2008, he completed a Master of Dental Science in Prosthodontics and a Master of Occlusion at the Medical University of Vienna. He later earned the EAO Master Diploma in Implant Dentistry and Implant Specialist Recognition at TRIAdontics Academy in Amsterdam. He began his clinical career in 2009 and founded Klinika Dentare Dr. Genci in Istog in 2012. His practice focuses on implant surgery, prosthodontics, and functional occlusion. Since 2021, he has also served as a lecturer and mentor at TRIAdontics Academy in Amsterdam. Dr. Zenunaj has presented numerous clinical case reports and research at international conferences, particularly in the fields of immediate implantation, digital workflows, and zirconia-related enamel wear. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), where he is engaged in advanced clinical research on full-arch rehabilitation strategies in cases of severe maxillary atrophy, applying innovative surgical approaches to restore function and esthetics in complex anatomical situations.
